In the Trans-Baikal Territory, about 2 thousand km of roads are planned to be repaired by 2030 as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". Sergey Krivoshchekov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Road Management and Transport of the region, said this at a press conference in the government of Transbaikalia on Wednesday, April 30.

"By 2030, it is necessary to bring part of the roads of the regional network to a standard state, at the level of 85% — the road network of the urban agglomeration, as well as highways in Borzinsky and Krasnokamensk districts," the official said.

According to him, a large amount of work is planned on the roads included in the main regional network. As part of the national project, 1,975 km of pavement will be put in order.

Meanwhile, in the territory of the Trans-Baikal Territory, more than 2 thousand km of roads were repaired as part of the national project "Safe high-quality Roads", implemented from 2019 to 2024, writes IA ChitaMedia. As part of the national projects, the bridge at the entrance to Chita, which was damaged by flooding, was overhauled, and the bridge and overpass in Darasun village were reconstructed.
