The UK has opened a criminal case against the writer Bykov


The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened a criminal case against writer and publicist Dmitry Bykov (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). This was announced on April 30 by the press service of the department.
"The investigative authorities of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow have opened a criminal case against Dmitry Bykov," they wrote on the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, Bykov is suspected of publicly spreading deliberately false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces (paragraph "d" of part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code), as well as evading duties provided for by legislation on foreign agents (part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code). The issue of declaring Bykov wanted is being considered.
The Russian Interior Ministry announced the editor-in-chief of the Dozhd TV channel (recognized as a foreign agent, his structures declared undesirable in Russia) Tikhon Dziadko (listed as a foreign agent) is wanted. It is not specified under what article the criminal case was initiated.
