The expert spoke about typical mistakes at the interview

An interview is always stressful, but it is in such conditions that professionalism is most pronounced. You can say too much and leave a bad opinion about yourself. Anastasia Alekseeva, HR Director of the communication agency DIDENOK TEAM, told Izvestia on April 30 about the main mistakes that can spoil the impression of even experienced candidates.
She warned that you should not come to the interview unprepared.
"It is important to find out at least basic information about the company. If, at a meeting with a potential manager, you start to wonder what the company is doing in general, this is an unambiguous "red flag". This means that you generally do not know the niche, competitors and the product you have to work with, and these are usually the basic expectations of any specialist," said Alekseeva.
The expert recommended avoiding common phrases like "I've done this 100 times," "I understand everything," "I performed my tasks better than anyone." Instead, it is better to give specific examples.: "Increased sales by n% due to the introduction of the following tools" or "Increased conversion by optimizing a number of business processes."
In addition, Alekseeva advised not to speak in offensive terms about former employers.
"The skill of competent and correct argumentation of the reasons for parting with previous companies is appreciated by HR specialists. If you broadcast negativity, it will certainly suggest that in the future you will discuss this employer in the same way," said the HR Director.
According to her, it is not necessary to disclose confidential information about a previous employer in the hope of endearing a potential supervisor. For any professional and ethical manager, this will be the most repulsive factor.
The expert also recommended being yourself and not deceiving a potential employer.
"In the digital age, any information about you is easily verified. But most importantly, remember that a successful interview and a long—awaited offer are just the beginning of a joint journey. And they should serve as a solid foundation for further long-term and fruitful cooperation. The castles in the air built during the interview will quickly dissipate during the probation period and will only lead to a new job search," concluded Alekseeva.
On April 26, Ekaterina Rakitskaya, Director of Communications at TECHNONICOL, told Izvestia about ways to resolve work conflicts. According to her, you need to talk about the problem right away, rather than accumulate dissatisfaction, and also keep calm. During the discussion process, it is important to practice active listening, to focus on finding a solution rather than confrontation. In order to avoid conflicts, the expert advised to clearly allocate areas of responsibility and encourage open communication.
