Deputy Kharchenko presented letters of thanks to volunteers in Kursk

Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, met with Kursk volunteers on April 30 and presented them with letters of thanks and gifts.
"The Kursk region knows how to unite and unite. And today we are meeting with our wonderful friends, wonderful girls, and volunteers who, together with us, are bringing victory closer. I know a lot of volunteers, but today there are like—minded people here," Kharchenko said.
She told me that she was the youngest like-minded person in volunteering, who was only four years old. The deputy also said that she had visited an elderly volunteer woman who, from the very beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, had given 2,000 rubles for humanitarian purposes from each pension.
Kharchenko, at the time of handing over the letters of thanks, thanked the volunteers and said kind and parting words to them.
Earlier, Kharchenko proposed making April 26 the date of liberation of the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The MP also noted that this event in the modern history of the country should be captured in textbooks for schoolchildren and students.
