Mikhail Kravets, the head coach of the Beijing Kontinental Hockey League club Kunlun Red Star, has left his post. This was announced by the club's press service on April 30.

"Mikhail Kravets will not continue working with Kunlun Red Star in the 2025/2026 season. The club has decided not to accept the second year of the coach's contract, signed under the 1+1 system," the club wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is reported that Kravets became the head coach of the Chinese club in May 2024. Under his leadership, the team posted a record winning streak and narrowly missed the playoffs, finishing ninth in the Western Conference at the end of the regular season.

Earlier, on April 30, Alexander Kharlamov resigned as CEO of Nizhny Novgorod hockey club Torpedo due to the expiration of his contract. The outgoing CEO also expressed gratitude to the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, the government of the region, partners, coaches, players and employees of the club, as well as fans. Torpedo, in turn, thanked the head for his contribution to the club's development.
