The Road to Yalta Festival will name the best performer

On May 1, at 18:00, the gala concert of the VII International Music Competition-Festival "The Road to Yalta" will take place in the State Kremlin Palace. On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, well-known songs about the Great Patriotic War, beloved by many generations, will be performed in different languages of the world in the capital of Russia.

In 2025, the organizing committee received 160 applications from vocalists from 55 countries. In the online qualifying round, the jury selected participants from 15 countries who came to Moscow. Contestants from Brazil, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Cyprus, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco, Mongolia, Republic of Cuba, Serbia, USA, Tunisia, France will compete for the main prize of the festival. The winners of the Road to Yalta will be determined by a jury consisting of Mikhail Shvydkoi, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation, Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of the Kurchatov Institute, and Honored Artists of Russia.: Denis Maidanov, Kai Metov, Zara, Alexander F.Sklar. The chairman of the jury is People's Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leshchenko.

At the gala concert, foreign performers will perform duets with stars of the Russian stage: Nonna Grishaeva, Yaroslav Sumishevsky, Askar Abdrazakov, Ekaterina Guseva, Yuta, Mikhail Grushevsky, the Kvatro group, Aglaya Shilovskaya and others. The online broadcast of the Road to Yalta–2025 will be available on the website doroganayaltu.ru , in the social networks of the festival and its partners.

According to the established tradition, the premiere of the broadcast version of the gala concert will take place on the eve of Victory Day on May 8 at 20:30 on the Kultura TV channel.
