Investments in education in Africa will be a positive return for the continent's population and for humanity. This was announced on April 30 by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, at the site of the Rossiya National Center as part of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A new platform for global growth."

"Jeffrey (Jeffrey Sachs — American economist — Ed.) and I discussed Africa in great detail before the discussion began, and what can be done for the economic development of this region in order to attract much more investment, which the African continent needs now," TASS quoted Oreshkin as saying.

According to him, Russia has a very warm attitude towards Africa, and the continent itself has a huge potential for development and a rapidly growing population.

On April 28, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Representative of the President of Russia for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, noted that Africa is a very important partner for the Russian Federation.
