Ukraine and the United States intend to sign a deal on minerals within the next 24 hours. This was announced on April 30 by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.

"As soon as all the last details are finalized in the near future, I hope the agreement will be signed within the next 24 hours," he said on the air of the Ukrainian news telethon.

At the same time, Shmygal noted that the Ukrainian side would have to return 50% of the income from all new licenses and mining rents to a joint fund with the United States.

In addition, the Prime Minister clarified that the next military aid to the Kiev regime from American intermediaries will be defined as Washington's contribution to the joint investment fund.

Earlier, on April 27, Mike Waltz, adviser to the American leader on national security, said that the American leader Donald Trump was determined to conclude a deal with Ukraine on minerals. According to him, the negotiators are working hard to conclude an agreement.

On April 18, Kiev and Washington signed a memorandum on a resource deal. The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Sviridenko, added that the next step is to develop the final content of the agreement and conclude it.
