The police in the Lipetsk region are conducting an investigation into fraud, the victim of which was a 78-year-old pensioner. The victim lost more than 1 million rubles.

According to the elderly woman, she received an offer in the Telegram messenger for additional earnings. The pensioner entered into communication with the conman and, according to his instructions, transferred a large amount to third-party accounts. This is reported by GOROD48.

During the day, five Lipchans fell for the tricks of false brokers. A 42-year-old man lost about 1 million rubles, a 21-year-old guy gave 170 million rubles. A 65-year-old man "invested" 39 thousand rubles. In Dobrinka, a 73-year-old woman gave 279 thousand rubles.

In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a 52-year-old woman suffered due to fraud with "flower delivery". The victim agreed to dictate the code from the SMS message to the courier, after which the scammers convinced her that the woman's account on the Gosuslugi portal had been hacked. Sakhalinka transferred 1.7 million rubles to an outside account.
