- A regional emergency mode has been introduced in the Tyumen region due to flooding

A regional emergency regime has been introduced in the Tyumen Region due to flooding in five settlements of the Kazan and Abatsky districts. This was announced on April 30 by the governor of the region, Alexander Moore.
"The emergency mode allows the regional government and local governments to make decisions more quickly to combat flooding and eliminate consequences, using financial resources and material resources from reserve funds," the governor said in his Telegram channel.
According to him, residents of settlements where a regional emergency regime will be established will be able to apply for one-time financial assistance.
"Only those citizens who, as a result of an emergency situation, have lost the opportunity to live in their homes, or if transport links to safe territories are interrupted, or sanitary and epidemiological norms are violated," the governor of the region specified.
Moore stressed that if there is a threat of flooding, they are ready to introduce a regional emergency regime in the settlements of Vikulovsky, Kazan and Ishim districts and the city of Ishim.
Moore announced on April 18 that the peak of flooding in the region will be on the May holidays. He noted that this year the water is coming very slowly, there will be no record levels, but the high values will last for a long time.
