In the mountains of North Ossetia, rescuers found the body of one of the missing climbers in February, who were trapped in an avalanche in the Tanadon gorge. This was announced on April 30 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.

"The body of one of the men was discovered today by rescuers of the North Ossetian search and Rescue squad of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in a snow mass at a depth of about eight meters," the Telegram channel says.

The agency added that the search was complicated by bad weather conditions. Currently, 22 specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the scene.

On February 19, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that two tourists from St. Petersburg stopped contacting in the Tanadon Gorge. The climbers came to Digoria for the Taimasi 2025 ice festival. It was noted that several avalanches had descended in the gorge area where they were located.
