- Mishustin announced the extension of grant support to farmers from the border region

Grant support for agricultural enterprises in the border regions of Russia will be extended for six months. This was announced on April 30 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a cabinet meeting.
"There will be a special procedure for farmers in the border areas — Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod regions — who participate in the programs. We will extend the terms of such grants for them by another six months so that they can use the funds effectively," he stressed.
It is specified that grants will be allocated for the development of family farms, the material and technical base of farms and the implementation of investment projects.
Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, announced on April 11 that this year about 5 billion rubles of state support are provided for farmers in new regions of Russia. He noted that the funds will be used to develop, among other things, the food and processing industry.
