OpenAI has rolled back the latest update of the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT due to the bot's overly flattering personality. This was announced on April 30 by Sam Altman, CEO of the company.

"The last few updates to GPT-4o have made this personality too sycophantic and annoying (although there are some very good sides to it)," Altman wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It is specified that the corrected version of the chatbot will be presented in the coming days.

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence product developed by the American company OpenAI. In January, Chinese startup DeepSeek released a free, low-cost, open-source language model that competed with OpenAI development. On January 27, US President Donald Trump said that the appearance of the DeepSeek model should be a signal for American companies./
