At the global digital forum, its participants will be able to exchange experiences and best practices of electronic transformation. This was announced on April 30 by Dmitry Grigorenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Platforms such as the global digital forum are becoming an effective tool for sharing experiences and best practices of digital transformation," he said.

According to him, digital technologies have become an integral part of the Russian Federation. They contribute to the development of various processes in many areas of life, from public administration, provision of public services in electronic form to the development of additional educational opportunities. Grigorenko mentioned social and audiovisual platforms among the examples, which, in his opinion, are in demand both inside and outside the country.

The Global Digital Forum will be held on June 5 and 6 in Nizhny Novgorod. It will be attended by 1.5 thousand citizens of foreign countries, as well as over 10 thousand people to join the event online. The meeting will discuss topical issues related to technology development. The exhibition "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" will also be prepared for the forum participants.

Earlier, on April 20, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said that Russia occupies a leading global position in digitalization, despite numerous hacks of equipment and sanctions pressure from unfriendly countries. According to him, the Russian Federation is ready to share with its partners the experience of protecting sovereignty in the information space.
