On Miklukho-Maklay Street in Moscow, a 22-year-old man stole more than 5.7 million rubles from a motorist sitting in a car. This was announced on April 30 by the press service of the city prosecutor's office.
"The man approached a parked Chery Tiggo carsharing car, opened the front passenger door and, using violence against the passenger who was there, stole a mobile phone worth 100,000 rubles and a bag with cash totaling more than 5.7 million rubles," the prosecutor's office wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the attacker was detained while trying to take a taxi to another city. He was charged under paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery") and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention.
Earlier, on April 3, in Perm, a 15-year-old teenager with an air pistol tried to steal 168 bars of chocolate. It is specified that the teenager was drunk, he threatened an employee of the store with an air pistol. The suspect was neutralized by a visitor to the store, after which the police were informed about what was happening.
