Hollywood actress Priscilla Pointer, who starred in the movie "A Nightmare on Elm Street," has died at the age of 100. This was reported on April 30 by The Hollywood Reporter magazine.with reference to her son, screenwriter and director David Irving.
"Pointer passed away on Monday (April 28. - Ed.) in a nursing home in Ridgefield, Connecticut," Irving told the magazine.
Poynter has played a large number of acting roles, including one of the key characters in the TV series "Dallas". In addition, the actress starred in such projects as the series "The Flash", "Law of Los Angeles", the film "Blue Velvet" directed by David Lynch, "Inferno" and others.

Pointer is survived by three children and eight grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren. The actress was the former mother-in-law of film director Steven Spielberg.
