The Ministry of Defense published footage of the liberation of the settlement of Novoe in the DPR

On April 30, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage from the village of Novoe in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), which was liberated by military personnel of the Zapad group of forces as a result of active hostilities.

In the video, you can see how Russian military personnel, using attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), destroyed military equipment, firing points and command and observation posts of Ukrainian militants. In addition, they entered enemy positions, cleared houses and structures from the remnants of the garrison units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Some of the Ukrainian military surrendered.

"We immediately determined where the enemy was looking, where he was controlling, which woodlands. <...> At the designated time of the designated day, they began to enter from the direction from which the enemy did not expect," said the commander of the call sign detachment with the call sign Varyag.

As a sign of the liberation of the settlement of Novoe from the Armed Forces formations, the military erected Russian flags.

When storming the village, there were up to ten enemy drones per one of our fighters.

The liberation of the settlement of Novoye in the DPR became known earlier that day. It is specified that the enemy lost more than 220 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, ten vehicles and five Western-made artillery pieces in this area.
