The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are intensifying attacks on civilians in order to disrupt peace talks. This was stated on April 30 by the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry for crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik.

He clarified that since the beginning of the dialogue between Russia and the United States to resolve the crisis, the number of attacks by the Ukrainian army on civilians and facilities on Russian territory has increased by 20-30%.

"Since [Russian President Vladimir] Putin's telephone conversations Putin and [American leader Donald] After President Donald Trump launched a dialogue between the United States and Russia on finding peaceful solutions to the "Ukrainian crisis," the Kiev regime is only escalating the situation with attempts to attack Russian civilian targets and civilians," Miroshnik told TASS.

In addition, the ambassador added that Kiev may be preparing provocations on its territory in order to accuse Russia of them in order to undermine the negotiation process to resolve the conflict.

On April 28, Miroshnik said that the increase in the number of attacks from Kiev was due to the policy of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his supervisors, as well as the start of the negotiation process between Moscow and Washington. According to the ambassador, the number of strikes reached 300 per day or more than 2,000 per week, which is about a quarter more than the weekly figures in January and February.
