Oman, China and Vietnam will introduce Russian culture


The Bolshoi Theatre, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic named after Shostakovich, the Boris Eifman Ballet Theater and the Moscow Kremlin Museum have prepared a series of cultural events in Oman, Vietnam and China. This was reported in the press service of VTB, which will act as a partner of the events.
"Russian art forms the world heritage and makes representatives of different nationalities fall in love with themselves. Performances and concerts will be held in China in May and June as part of the cross-cultural years of Russia and China and will continue in Vietnam in the fall, while the exhibition "Russia and the East" will be held in Oman for the first time.
On May 7-11, the Bolshoi Theater will open the program with a ballet Gala concert in Beijing. Then they will show "Sleeping Beauty" choreographed by Grigorovich to the music of Tchaikovsky.
On June 21-29, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic named after Shostakovich will give a series of concerts in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Wuhan. Musical programs are waiting for the Chinese audience: piano concertos with orchestra No. 1 by Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky, as well as Symphony No. 6 and Symphony No. 7 by Shostakovich.
In addition, the Tretyakov Gallery plans to open the exhibition Ilya Repin in the summer. Faces of Russia" at the National Museum of Beijing.
From November 26 to December 5, the Boris Eifman Ballet Theater will present the ballet Anna Karenina in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. And in early December, the exhibition "Russia and the East.
