The editorial board of Evening Moscow has prepared a set of special issues for Victory Day

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared 2025 the Year of Defender of the Fatherland. This event is of particular importance on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the sacred feat of our people, who showed indomitable will, courage and love for the Motherland in the fight against the fascist invaders.

For Victory Day, which embodies the greatness of the Russian spirit and the invincibility of patriotism, the editorial board of the newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva has prepared a set of special issues from the black-and—white Vechernyka - issues dated May 9, 1945 and June 25, 1945. Muscovites held such issues in their hands first on the day of the national celebration, after the signing of the act of unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany, and then after the historic Victory Day Parade in June 1945.

"These issues are very important for the media holding, because Vechernyaya Moskva is the only city newspaper that never stopped its work during the Great Patriotic War, remaining faithful to its patriotic duty," said Georgy Rudnitsky, General Director of Vechernyaya Moskva Newspaper Editorial Office.

Special sets of festive rooms were given to all veterans and guests who came to Red Square on May 9, 2025 for the Victory Day Parade, a sacred symbol of our great Motherland.
