Magnit, one of the leading retailers in Russia, has acquired a controlling stake in the Azbuka Vkusa chain. This was announced on April 30 on the company's official website.

"The transaction will be closed after receiving the appropriate approval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and fulfilling a number of other conditions agreed upon by the parties," the publication said.
