Iranian Foreign Minister announces next round of talks with the United States in Rome


The next round of Iran-US talks will be held in Rome. This was announced on April 30 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araqchi.
"The next round of indirect talks, according to the Omani organizer, will be held in Rome," Tasnim news agency quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.
According to him, before the talks, Iran will hold a meeting with the Eurotroika, which includes Germany, Great Britain, and France.
On April 12, the first round of negotiations between the United States and Iran on the lifting of sanctions and nuclear issues ended. The second stage took place on April 19. The Iranian delegation was led by Araqchi, and Washington was represented by the President's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
On April 18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that Moscow could become a mediator in negotiations between Washington and Tehran. He stated that the Islamic Republic is ready to make common decisions within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
