Astronauts of the Chinese Shenzhou-19 spacecraft with three taikonauts on board landed in the north of the country on Wednesday after undocking from the Tiangong national orbital station. This was announced on April 30 by the Office of the Manned Space Flight Program of the People's Republic of China (CMSE).

Crew commander Cai Xuzhe, as well as Song Lingdong and Wang Haojie, the country's third female astronaut and the only female space engineer, were originally supposed to return a day earlier, but the crew's return was delayed due to strong winds at the initial landing site. Currently, the meteorological conditions meet the requirements.

According to the CMSA, the medical staff on site confirmed that the astronauts are in good condition.

"Three astronauts have been in orbit for 183 days and conducted three spacewalks, completed the installation of a space station protection device from space debris and performed several cargo spacewalks," the statement said.

On April 25, CMSA reported that the Shenzhou-20 manned spacecraft successfully docked, after which the taikonauts entered the Chinese space station. The ministry clarified that on April 25 at 01:27 Beijing time (April 24 at 20:27 Moscow time) Three taikonauts entered the main module of the Tianhe, where they were met by the team of the previous launch, carried out on October 30, 2024.
