On April 25, a press conference dedicated to the development of the All-Russian Aviation competition "Runway" was held at the Izvestia Press center. The final of the first stage of the competition was held on April 12 in Moscow and became a starting event for aviation fans, and for some it was a chance to compete in their favorite hobby and win a car.

The speakers of the press conference were: People's Artist of Russia, TV presenter and aviator Leonid Yakubovich, CEO of Dream Aero Ivan Uvenkov, popularizer of aviation and ambassador of Dream Aero Alexey Kochemasov and clinical psychologist against aerophobia Dmitry Kudryashov.

The organizers of the contest, together with the initiator of the project Leonid Yakubovich, announced the continuation of the Runway contest and talked about future plans, prepared surprises for new participants and the social significance of the project. Charitable foundations will be involved in the competition, and children and teenagers from social institutions will also be able to participate. The super prize in the upcoming stage of the competition will be an apartment in Moscow or the nearest Moscow region and other valuable gifts. The aim of the competition is to give everyone the opportunity to feel like a pilot. Popularization of the pilot's profession is not just about attracting young people to aviation, it is about creating a future where dreams of the sky become reality, and everyone can touch the profession of a pilot.

"Even the chief pilots of major airlines are required to board a flight simulator. It's a pretty serious story. And I repeat, many who come to flight training are seriously thinking about going to study to be a pilot," comments TV presenter and aviator Leonid Yakubovich.

The competition, supported by aviation masters – Hero of Russia Damir Yusupov and famous pilot Alexei Kochemasov, is aimed at popularizing aviation among young people, involving them in the pilot profession and combating aerophobia. A clinical psychologist spoke in more detail about the effectiveness of the fight against aerophobia among citizens. According to the organizers, the Runway helped participants gain confidence in flying and overcome fear of the sky.

Dream Aero flight trainers are exact replicas of the cockpit of Boeing 737 NG and Airbus A320 aircraft. The company is actively developing and expanding its activities. In addition to the Runway competition, the company implements projects for lecture halls, young pilot schools, and other initiatives that bring aviation closer to a wide audience. The development of the Runway competition is an important step in popularizing aviation and strengthening Dream Aero's position on the international market.
