A resident of Gorlovka, who was wounded as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, died.

A woman injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the center of Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has died. This was announced on April 30 by the mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko.

"A civilian citizen, injured as a result of yesterday's shelling of the center of Horlivka by Ukrainian terrorists, died from injuries incompatible with life," he said in his Telegram channel.

Prikhodko expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

Earlier, on April 29, the mayor of Gorlovka reported 16 injured civilians as a result of the shelling of Gorlovka by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, as a result of the incident, two educational institutions, an apartment building, and a passenger bus were also damaged. The Interior Ministry of the DPR clarified that five police officers were injured.
