The Moscow Department of Transport announced on Wednesday, April 30, that on May 7 and 9, exit from seven central metro stations will be restricted.

Passengers will not be able to leave the lobbies at Okhotny Ryad, Teatralnaya, Revolution Square, Arbatskaya, Lenin Library, Borovitskaya, and Alexandrovsky Sad stations.

"The restrictions will last from the opening of the subway until the end of the events," the Telegram channel said.

At the same time, deptrans clarified that all these stations will operate for entry and transfers.

Earlier in April, Sobyanin announced that Moscow metro builders had begun tunneling the right-hand tunnel between Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye and Linden Grove stations on the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line. The Victoria shield is used for the work, which "should cover about 2.3 km, including about 200 m under the Moskva riverbed," the mayor said.
