Law enforcement officers detained a Chinese citizen who escaped from a penal colony in Primorye

A Chinese citizen who escaped from colony settlement No. 26 in Primorye was found and detained by law enforcement agencies. This was announced on April 30 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service (GUFSIN) of Russia for the Primorsky Territory in the Telegram channel.

"Currently, the convict has already been taken to a temporary detention facility," the department said.

It is specified that the escaped convict was caught in the Razdolnoye-Khasan district forest area with the participation of FSB and FSIN officers.

On April 18, the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported that a 20-year-old resident of the Amur Region would be convicted of distributing drugs on an especially large scale. It is reported that in September 2024, the suspect received a message with an offer of illegal work, to which he agreed. He was promised large payments in cryptocurrency for the distribution of prohibited substances.
