On April 30, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will launch the construction of a road bridge connecting Russia and the DPRK. This was announced on Wednesday, April 30, by the Government of the Russian Federation.

"On April 30, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will take part in a videoconference ceremony at the start of construction of a road bridge over the Tumannaya River in Primorsky Krai," the announcement says.

It is specified that the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of North Korea, Park Tae Song, will also take part in the ceremony.

Earlier, on April 29, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, said that the Russian Federation was grateful to the DPRK for its help in liberating the territory of the Kursk region from units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) that had invaded the region.
