Currently, Russia has a good opportunity to achieve lasting peace in the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on Tuesday, April 29, by the Deputy Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations (UN) John Kelly.

"Right now, Russia has a great opportunity to achieve lasting peace," he said during a meeting of the UN Security Council.

At the same time, Kelly added that the United States would fully support a way to resolve the conflict if both sides agreed to conclude a peace agreement.

In addition, according to the diplomat, the end of the Ukrainian conflict will result in great benefits for Russia and Ukraine, including economic benefits.
