Russian Foreign Ministry says Kiev is not in the mood for a ceasefire

Russia does not see Ukraine demonstrating or confirming its commitment to the ceasefire regime. Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kyiv regime, told Izvestia.
"There are no grounds to say that Ukraine is ready to change its actions "on the ground" in any way. As of today, we do not observe this. We observe only fumbling around in pseudo-peacekeeping rhetoric. We do not see Ukraine demonstrating or confirming its commitment to the ceasefire regime by peacekeeping statements alone," he said.
He specified that today the Russian Federation and Ukraine have interaction on exchanges (at the military level) and there is a dialog at the level of ombudsmen.
"There are no other official contacts that would talk about the beginning of dialog, pre-dialogue, consultations or talks on negotiations. There are only attempts by the Americans to act as moderators of the process," said Rodion Miroshnik.
