Trump pointed to the complexity of the dialogue with Zelensky

Russian President Vladimir Putin is easier to deal with than Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. This was stated on April 29 by US President Donald Trump in an interview with journalist Glenn Beck, which was published on the social network X (ex. Twitter)
"So far, he [Putin] has been easier to deal with than Zelensky," Trump said.
He added that Russia is a very large military force because it has a large number of military personnel and equipment, but Ukraine does not. According to Trump, he is trying to end the Ukrainian conflict, but Zelensky wants more weapons and security guarantees from the United States.
"Guarantees? I do not even know if we can make this deal. He's asking for more and more, but he doesn't have any cards, as you know, because you can see what's going on there. He has no trump cards," the American leader noted.
On April 23, Trump noted that the United States is experiencing more difficulties in negotiations with Ukraine than with Russia, with which agreements have been practically reached. In addition, according to him, Zelensky's statement about the refusal to recognize Crimea as the territory of the Russian Federation hinders the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
