Participants of the electoral law contest were selected in Moscow

Applications for the first youth suffrage competition have been accepted in the capital. More than 40 Muscovites became participants, the Moscow government's situation center reported.
The competition, organized by the city youth electoral club with the support of the Moscow Department of Territorial Executive Authorities and the Moscow City Election Commission, started on February 16. Three nominations have been announced: videos emphasizing the importance of participation in elections, research works in the field of electoral law, and digital projects aimed at popularizing elections.
"We have seen that young people are interested in electoral law and electoral processes," said Alexey Nemeryuk, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Mayor and Government of Moscow.
The contest is aimed at developing and improving the electoral system in the city, the organizers noted. Participants can contribute to the development of Moscow's electoral system, said Marina Prozorova, Deputy Head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities in Moscow.
By June 16, the expert council, consisting of members of the Moscow City Election Commission and the chairmen of territorial election commissions, will evaluate the originality, practical significance and quality of the participants' work. The winners will be awarded at the end of June. The best works will be sent to the federal level for participation in the Atmosphere contest.
