The Consulate General of the Russian Federation spoke about the condition of those injured in a bus accident in Turkey

Two Russian citizens who were injured in a bus accident in Turkey may need surgery. The Russian Consulate General in Antalya was informed about this on April 29.

"According to the Turkish side, on April 29 <...> a traffic accident occurred near Manavgat involving a bus carrying a group of 25 tourists from Antalya Airport," the diplomatic mission's Telegram channel says.

The Russian Consulate General in Antalya is in contact with Turkish services, tour operators, and an insurance company working on this incident. The issues of providing assistance to victims have been taken under control.

At the moment, 17 Russian citizens remain in medical institutions. They are provided with all necessary assistance.

On the same day, the IHA news agency reported that at least 18 tourists from Russia were injured in an accident in the Turkish province of Antalya. It is specified that the driver lost control of the bus, after which the vehicle flew off the highway.
