In the Kherson region, a child was blown up by ammunition. This was announced on April 29 by the head of the administration of the city district of Novaya Kakhovka, Vitaly Gura.

"In the village of Maslovka on Sadovaya Street, an explosion on ammunition. The boy, born in 2013, was taken to the Novaya Mayachka hospital," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Gura also added that the child's condition is assessed as serious, as he has lacerations all over his body.

On April 16, Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region, announced that a 10-year-old boy had died in the village of Malomikhailovka in the Shebekinsky district due to a mine explosion by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He also recalled the strict prohibition on lifting any objects from the ground in the border area.
