More than 1,000 local residents applied for financial assistance after the detonation of ammunition in a military unit in the Kirzhachsky district of the Vladimir region. This was announced on April 29 on the website of the regional government.
"1,003 people have already applied for financial assistance, about half of them have received it. Our task is to process all applications promptly and make payments as soon as possible," said Lyubov Kukushkina, Adviser to the governor.
It is noted that residents of the emergency zone, regardless of the damage caused, will be paid 10 thousand rubles, and assistance will also be provided in restoring damaged housing. In addition, 75 thousand rubles per family will be paid for partial loss of basic necessities and 150 thousand rubles for full loss.
The detonation of ammunition occurred on April 22 as a result of a fire on the territory of a military unit, the Russian Defense Ministry said. The cause of the fire was called a violation of safety requirements when working with explosive materials. At the same time, an emergency situation was declared in the territory. Later it became known that four people were injured due to the incident, three of them were hospitalized.
On April 23, the governor of the region, Alexander Avdeev, announced that the situation in the Kirzhachsky district was gradually stabilizing. On April 25, it became known that the emergency regime had been lifted in 11 settlements, with the exception of the village of Barsovo.
