This was announced on April 29 by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

"I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the election of your representative to the post of Chairman of the newly formed Interpol Management Committee. I have no doubt that Ms. Dana Al-Marzouki will ensure productive and non-politicized work. <...> And the constant dialogue of experts will contribute to the development of the level of trust and cooperation between our subordinates necessary for the effective solution of common tasks," said Krasnov.

In particular, the Prosecutor General expressed the willingness of the University of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation to exchange publications with educational institutions in the UAE, as well as to plan joint research and publications.

The head of the Prosecutor General's Office also suggested organizing an expert-level meeting in June to share experiences in countering the spread of prohibited content on the Internet, as well as suppressing crimes in the digital environment. He stressed that Moscow has extensive experience and is ready to share it.

In addition, Krasnov drew attention to the preparation of Russian prosecutors for the Fifteenth United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which will be held in Abu Dhabi in April 2026. According to him, representatives of Russia are actively involved in the development of the text of the declaration of the congress.

"I am convinced that the joint work of our specialists will make it possible to include breakthrough ideas in the final document that will determine the UN anti—criminal agenda for the coming years," concluded Krasnov.

Earlier, on April 15, Krasnov and his UAE counterpart Hamad Saif Al-Shamsi signed an additional protocol on the establishment of a working group on combating crime and protecting citizens' rights. The Russian Prosecutor General expressed the opinion that the group's activities would increase the effectiveness of the fight against crime and strengthen further cooperation between states.
