More than 300 people suffered from tick bites in the Perm region

In the Perm Region, since the beginning of the season, 338 people have turned to doctors with tick bites. There are 84 children among the injured.

The largest number of appeals — 61 cases — was registered in the Perm Municipal District. Almost half of the bites occurred in the territories adjacent to the house. In addition, pests attacked Permians in suburban areas, as well as in the forest. This is reported by the news agency " <url>".

Almost 30% of the ticks that were admitted to the laboratory for research turned out to be carriers of borreliosis. Another 2.4% of individuals had monocytic ehrlichiosis, 0.5% had tick—borne encephalitis.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, experts have registered a significant increase in the tick population. The number of pests exceeds the safe level by 30 times due to the abnormally warm spring.
