Zakharova pointed to the destruction of the memory of the joint struggle against fascism in Estonia

Estonia destroys everything that reminds of the joint struggle against fascism. On April 29, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told Izvestia.

She commented on the dismantling of Soviet symbols — sickle, hammer and anchor — from the facade of the building of the Center of Russian Culture in Tallinn.

According to her, in the 50s of the last century, Soviet Russia treated the Republic of Estonia with respect and care.

"Back then, Estonia remembered who had liberated their country from the Nazi occupiers, and they were grateful to their Russian friends. And they honored the memory. Now their heirs are supplying weapons to the neo-Nazis in Ukraine and destroying everything that recalls the joint struggle against the fascists. Only the historical memory, as well as the gratitude of the Estonian people, will not be erased," she said.
