More than 1,200 rates will be reduced in the Crimean authorities

Almost 15% of vacancies are eliminated in the state and municipal services of Crimea within two years. Salaries of officials will increase due to optimization, the head of the republic Sergey Aksyonov said in his social networks on Tuesday, April 29.
In total, more than 1,200 bets will be reduced, writes IA SevastopolMedia. This is more than 500 units in republican institutions and more than 700 in municipalities.
The authorities made this decision in order to increase the prestige of the civil service and ensure an increase in wages for employees of state and local government bodies.
"The increase in wages is planned to be achieved solely by optimizing and reducing staffing levels, as well as reducing recruitment during the same period for state and municipal service," Aksenov explained.
He added that another source should be the growth of tax and non-tax revenues in municipalities. This is supposed to be done by intensifying the fight against "gray" salaries.
