In the first quarter of 2025, Moscow customers signed more than 43.1 thousand contracts worth almost 11 billion rubles with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) on the supplier portal. Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow and head of the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development, told Izvestia on April 30.

"Small and medium-sized businesses are the key counterparties of the city and help the capital's institutions meet operational needs. In the first three months of this year, more than 43,000 contracts worth 10.8 billion rubles were signed with representatives of small and medium—sized businesses on the supplier portal, which is 12.5% more than in the same period last year," said Maria Bagreeva.

According to her, small and medium-sized businesses accounted for about 42% of the total purchases on the portal. Most often, Moscow customers purchased construction, household, medical, information technology products, household appliances, communications equipment, electronics and office equipment, as well as maintenance and maintenance services for the capital's facilities. About 18.3 thousand contracts were signed in these categories from January to March.

The supplier portal was created in 2013 to automate small-volume purchases. About 1.5 thousand contracts are signed on the portal every day.

On March 7, the SME Corporation told Izvestia that in 2024, small and medium-sized businesses in Russia attracted a record 1.18 trillion rubles thanks to government support through the National Guarantee System.
