Today, Russia and Belarus are being taught pseudo-subjectivity from abroad, trying to erase the memory of victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). This was announced on April 29 by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the Union State forum "Great Heritage — Common Future".

"Today in the Baltic countries and in Ukraine <...> monuments to fascist executioners are being erected. And all this with the tacit consent of the rest of the West. But we must not remain silent, that is why we have gathered with you today," Lukashenko said.

He pointed out that for the sake of protecting historical memory, one should not relax, one should not believe in repentance. You need to believe in deeds and facts.

According to the politician, the ambassadors of the European Union (EU) countries are shamefully laying flowers in Khatyn today without media coverage. They hide their faces from the cameras of journalists, he added.

Earlier in the day, Putin and Lukashenko visited the memorial complex "To the Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad" on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd. They paid tribute to the defenders of Stalingrad and laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame in the Hall of Military Glory and flowers at the grave of Marshal, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Chuikov.
