The program of the XI Nevsky International Ecological Congress has been published.

As part of the XI Nevsky International Ecological Congress, which will be held from May 22 to 23, 2025, the organizers have prepared a rich program of eco-activities aimed at environmental education, volunteerism, conservation of natural resources and the environment. Participants and guests of the Congress will enjoy unique events in different parts of the city and its surroundings.

The eco-activities prepared within the framework of the Congress are not only significant environmental events, but also an important step in shaping responsible public consciousness. Each of the events is aimed at actively involving residents and participants of the Congress in the processes of sustainable development, nature protection and sustainable environmental practices.

On May 21, 2025, the day before the official opening of the Congress, the Smolenka Yacht Port will host a Youth eco-festival with the support of the Rosatom State Corporation. The festival is aimed at popularizing the environmental agenda and science among young people. The program includes lectures, environmental practices, career opportunities, quizzes, contests, musical sets and other activities. Participants will be able to get acquainted with the Primordial Russia exhibition and the exhibits of the Clean Energy project.
At the same time, one of the most exciting events will take place – the sap swim, organized by the Russian Environmental Operator (REO). The Smolenka River swim will take place from the embankment of Alexander Volodin Square to the Uralsky Bridge and back. In the launch town, participants will be able to take part in eco-educational events aimed at promoting environmentally friendly sports such as stand-up paddleboarding (SAP). On May 17, 2025, the International Youth Environmental Campaign "Clean Coast" will be held on the southern shore of Kotlin Island. The campaign will be held from 10:30 to 17:00 and will become one of the largest environmental awareness events in the city. As part of the campaign, participants will be able to clean up coastal areas, as well as take part in environmental quests and training stations, where they will master separate waste collection. The teams that do the best job will receive prizes from partners and organizers.

From May 20 to 21, 2025, the XXV Anniversary International Environmental Forum "Baltic Sea Day" will be held in Kronstadt at the site of the Universe of Water complex and the Museum of Naval Glory. The Forum will become an important platform for discussing issues of conservation of the Baltic Sea region's water resources, protection of marine and coastal territories, as well as for sharing experiences on greening the fleet and combating the effects of climate change.
The First World Championship in Geology will be held in St. Petersburg from May 17 to May 23, 2025. Young geologists and students from different countries will take part in the competition. The championship will cover various disciplines, including mineralogy, petrography, tectonics, geodynamics and others. Participants will also enjoy geological excursions and professional communication with experienced geologists.
