"Running waves" will cover Moscow in the coming days

Abnormally cold weather and gusty winds are forecast in Moscow due to "running waves" — a phenomenon in which weather conditions change dramatically due to the movement of disturbances in the atmosphere. This was announced by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand on Tuesday, April 29.
"The weather in the coming days will not be super May, and this is due to the fact that "fast-moving waves" are forecast in the European territory of Russia, which lead to weather variability. First of all, the next three days will be windy, with wind gusts up to 15 m/s," the Moscow City News agency quoted the forecaster as saying.
Vilfand clarified that on May 1, the temperature is forecast to be 4 degrees below long—term values - in the capital it will be from +9...+11 degrees.
In turn, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that rainy weather is expected in the upcoming May holidays. 360.ru .
Earlier in the day, trees fell on parked cars in the Bibirevo area in northeastern Moscow due to strong winds. Previously, no one was injured as a result of the incident, writes RIAMO.
On April 12, Svetlana Petrova, a dermatologist at the Sberbank Health medical company, told Izvestia about the mandatory rules for sun protection. She explained that sunscreens should be applied 15 minutes before going outside to all exposed areas of the body: face, arms, neck and other areas not covered by clothing. In addition, when actively staying in the sun, especially on the beach, the cream needs to be renewed every 1.5–2 hours or after each swim.
