In the forum "Knowledge. The first" veterans of the Great Patriotic War took part

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) took part in the federal educational marathon "Knowledge. The first ones." This was announced on April 29 by the first deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko.

He called the work of the Russian society Znanie a transfer of true patriotism and faith in his country. According to him, emotions are transmitted only from person to person.

"They cannot be conveyed in any other way. That's why it's so important that WWII veterans come to the guys themselves. More than 20 guys are heroes of a special military operation, 10 Heroes of Russia, military officers," Kiriyenko said.

According to him, 10,000 people attended the marathon on the first day, and about 10 million viewers watched the event online.

Veterans of the special operation are among the key lecturers at the forum. In addition to lectures, project participants can attend exhibitions and film screenings, including educational cartoons.

The First" on April 28 marked the pride of Russia in the exploits of all those who defended their Homeland during the Great Patriotic War. He called WWII the most serious test for the state and recalled that thanks to the courage and steadfastness of Soviet soldiers and workers, the country had preserved its independence and freedom.
