The Hungarian parliament voted for the country's withdrawal from the ICC

The Hungarian parliament has voted for the country's withdrawal from the International Criminal Court (ICC). This was announced on April 29 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic Peter Szijjarto.
"The Hungarian parliament has just voted to withdraw from the ICC," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
He stressed that this decision is due to the fact that Hungary does not want to be part of a "politicized institution that has lost its impartiality and credibility."
On April 3, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced the country's decision to withdraw from the ICC. On the same day, the Hungarian government submitted to Parliament a bill on withdrawal from the ICC.
