Oreshkin declared Russia's confident position in the global economy in 10 years

Russia will take a confident place in the global economy in 10 years. This was announced to Izvestia on April 29 by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration (AP) of the Russian Federation, after an open dialogue "The Future of the world. A new platform for global growth."
"This is a confident place, this is the place of a strong independent sovereign country that has its own competencies and occupies a strong position," he said, answering a question from Izvestia correspondent Anton Zolotnitsky about Russia's place in the global economy in 10 years.
Oreshkin called people, in particular, the youth of Russia, who will move the economy forward, the main driver of growth.
During the open dialogue, Oreshkin announced that infrastructure development in Europe and the United States was practically halted, unlike in the BRICS countries and the Global South as a whole. He clarified that major projects are currently being implemented in the BRICS member states and new cities are emerging. According to Oreshkin, the countries of the Global South have the maximum potential for economic development and urbanization.
