The Investigative Committee of Russia is conducting an investigation into the death of the deputy head of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

An investigation is underway into the death of Igor Rozhnev, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported to Izvestia on April 29 by the Investigative Committee (IC).

The body of the deputy head of the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service was found over the weekend. According to local media, Rozhnev could have committed suicide.

Earlier, on February 4, the body of Artur Pryakhin, head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) for Karelia, was found in Petrozavodsk. The official committed suicide, leaving a note in which he asked not to blame anyone for his death.
