Russian President Vladimir Putin may award North Korean special forces soldiers who participated in the liberation of the Kursk region. This was announced on April 29 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with reporters.

"I am not aware of these plans yet, but this cannot be ruled out," he said, answering a question about the intentions of the head of state regarding the awarding of Korean special forces.
