In the Murmansk region, according to the results of the first quarter of 2025, 8.8 billion rubles exceeded residents' debts for housing and communal services. These are the data from the regional Ministry of Energy and Housing and Communal Services.
The department of RBC reported that a decrease in the growth rate of debt was recorded. So, by the end of 2020, debts increased by 13.7%, and by the end of 2024 — by only 1.9%. In addition, the collection of payments for "communal services" is increasing in the region. Last year, the figure was almost 98%.
According to the Bi-port news agency, with reference to the agency, the collection of payments is growing, including through explanatory work and close cooperation with the authorities and the bailiff service.
Earlier, Dmitry Bondar, a public figure and housing and communal services expert, said that Russians can partially reduce their arrears in housing and communal services by correcting calculation errors and applying a three-year statute of limitations.
