Alexander Getrik, a prisoner of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), told how he was trained in Romania under the guidance of instructors from Western countries. The video was distributed by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday, April 29.

"In January 2025, I graduated from the Mykolaiv school. We were sent to Romania to study. I was in Romania until February 23, 2025. Basically, everything is the same. The only thing is that there are weapons [miscellaneous]. They taught in the Mykolaiv training school — there were AKMS, and in Romania there were M4A1s. The Swedes and the Norwegians. We worked with an interpreter," the prisoner of war said.

After that, the soldier was sent to serve in units of neo-Nazi formations that committed crimes against Russia. As part of the sabotage groups, Getrik tried to enter the territory of the Russian Federation. However, fighters in the Russian Armed Forces eliminated the Ukrainian units.

The surviving Hetrik decided to save his life and surrender to the Russian military, laying down his arms.

Earlier, on April 28, Ruslan Roshva, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the military enlistment offices of Ukraine were mobilizing everyone, despite their state of health and the availability of documents. In addition, according to him, women who are in prison began to be recruited into the ranks of the military.
